Mr. Mahr graduated from Meigs High School in 1986.  He earned an Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing Technology from Rio Grande Community College in 1989. He then attended Ohio University where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering in 1993. Mr. Mahr has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and engineering positions with local companies. Mr. Mahr is currently employed with Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia, in Buffalo, West Virginia.

Mr. Mahr resides in Rutland with his wife, Carol. They have five children currently enrolled in the school district: Steven, Brandon, Dillon, Austin, and Andrea. He is seeking to make a difference by helping improving our school system and is honored to be elected to the Board.

In his spare time, he and his wife volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and The Rutland Youth Baseball League. They are members of the Middleport Church of Christ.
