cliff_Kennedy_head_webCliff Kennedy, Guidance Counselor
Mr. Kennedy is a 1980 graduate of Meigs High School.  He is a 1984 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a 1991 graduate of the University of Dayton with a master’s degree in School Guidance and Counseling.  Mr. Kennedy was a Specific Learning Disabilities Teacher in Meigs Local from 1984 to 1991.  He has been a Guidance Counselor at Meigs High School from 1991 to present.  Mr. Kennedy serves as Building Test Coordinator and has been an ACT Test Supervisor and Proctor.

Mr. Kennedy is married to Darla (Willliamson) Kennedy; a 1981 graduate of Meigs High School and a 1st grade teacher at Meigs Primary School.  They have two children (Kaylee and Scott) who are Meigs High School graduates and currently enrolled at Ohio University.  The Kennedy’s attend Heath United Methodist Church in Middleport.  They reside in Rutland.



will_webSara Will, Guidance Counselor


Mrs. Sara Will is a 2000 graduate from Meigs High School. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2004 from Ohio University. In 2006, she completed her master’s degree in Guidance Counseling. Upon completion of this degree, Mrs. Will moved with her husband to Wilmington, Ohio where she worked at an alternative high school for at-risk students in Springfield. In 2008, she and her husband moved back to Meigs County and she took a job with the admissions department at The University of Rio Grande. She worked there until she took a job with Jackson High School as their junior/senior guidance counselor. In 2011, Mrs. Will joined the Marauder Guidance Team, and is excited to be “home” and enthusiastic about using her experience to help Meigs High School students.

Mrs. Will resides in the Chester area with her husband, Josh, and her son, Noah.



amyeditAmy Jackson, Guidance/Attendance Secretary

Mrs. Amy Jackson is a 1995 graduate from Meigs High School.  She took online courses through AHP and received her certification in Medical Coding/Medical Transcription in 2004. She worked at Farmers Bank as a loan assistant for 9 years and worked at Holzer Clinic for 2 years.  She has worked for Meigs Local School District for 6 years as the Guidance/Attendance Secretary.

Mrs. Jackson resides in the Ravenswood WV area. She has two sons, Justin and Chris and two step children, Mariah and Luke. In her spare time she bakes cupcakes for special events and individuals and she makes jewelry. She is active and loves to participate in tennis and yoga.  Her favorite teams are the West Virginia Mountaineers and anyone playing against the Cowboys. She is a member of the Charitable Chicks and The Middleport Church of the Nazerene.
